The Agency is committed to working with Mi’kmaw communities, Indigenous organizations, and employers to prioritize the hiring of Indigenous apprentices in housing, construction and other projects in Mi’kmaw communities and surrounding areas. The Build Your Skills Learning Hub is your personal hub and all you need to succeed in a career in the construction trades.

The High Skills Major certificate program students earn their high school diploma while completing courses, and experiencing opportunities related to career interests. Pilot launched in 2023. Five certificate options: Arts, Health and Wellness, Skilled Trades, Digital Innovation and Technology, and Early Childhood Education.
